Hydraulic brakes? Engine brakes? In order to effectively slow down the vehicle, they are able to offer precise control over braking. Wheel motors are able to provide power and control to individual wheels rather than to the central engine. The BTMs, produced by HANSA TMP, are negative disc brakes in an oil bath that can be combined with orbital or radial motors depending on the maximum braking torque required.
