Hansa TMP provides hydraulic and mechatronic components and solutions that support energy production and management at every stage of the process-from motion and pressure control to cooling, filtration, and digital system monitoring. Through an innovation and efficiency-driven approach, Hansa TMP contributes to the development of higher-performing, sustainable, and smarter energy systems.

Wind Energy

Wind power is one of the pillars of the energy transition, requiring reliable solutions capable of ensuring business continuity even under the most extreme conditions. Hansa TMP supports onshore and offshore turbine builders and operators with advanced hydraulic and mechatronic systems designed to ensure precise control, consistent power and maximum efficiency over time. Hydraulics play a crucial role in several functions of the turbine:
  • the Pitch Control, through actuators and hydraulic power units (HPUs), adjusts the pitch of the blades according to the wind speed;
  • Yaw Control manages the rotation and locking of the nacelle to maintain proper alignment;
  • lubrication and cooling systems maintain optimal temperatures in multipliers and generators, while hydraulic brakes provide safety during shutdowns or maintenance.

Hansa TMP hydraulic power units (HPUs) for wind applications are designed to operate in harsh environments, withstanding extreme temperatures, vibration, and humidity. Each unit ensures fast and accurate response in pitch and yaw systems, continuous 24/7 operation, and reduced maintenance with high-efficiency, long-life components. Integration of digital sensors and predictive diagnostics systems enables constant performance monitoring, improving long-term safety and reliability. With its variable axial piston pumps, proportional valves, compact hydraulic motors, electronic fan drives, and high-efficiency filtration, Hansa TMP offers complete solutions for smooth and intelligent control of wind turbines. An integrated approach that combines hydraulics, electronics, and sensor technology in the service of more sustainable, efficient, and safe energy.

Solar Energy - Robots for cleaning solar panels

Automated cleaning of solar panels is a key element in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of photovoltaic and thermodynamic systems. Even a thin layer of sand or dust can significantly reduce energy yield, especially in desert areas or areas with high concentrations of particulate matter. For this reason, solar panel cleaning robots are now a strategic solution to ensure consistent performance, operational continuity and reduced maintenance costs. Cleaning systems can be mobile or rail-mounted, intended for on-grid or off-grid PV arrays, and range from semi-automatic versions to fully autonomous robots. Some models employ linear and rotary movements for washing, brushing, or air or water blowing, integrating hybrid hydraulic or electro-hydraulic solutions that combine power and precision. Hansa TMP provides the hydraulic and mechatronic components that ensure the efficient and controlled movement of these robots. Compact gear pumps or mini hydraulic power packs (HPUs) power the brush lift, rotation, or traction actuators. Orbital and radial motors ensure mobility even on sandy or uneven terrain, while proportional valves and modular spool valves automatically manage the washing and drying phases. For thermal management and reliability over time, Hansa TMP offers intelligent fan drives and compact heat exchangers, ideal for maintaining stable temperature of hydraulic or electronic circuits. Digital pressure, flow and temperature sensors enable remote monitoring and integration into mechatronic control platforms. All components are made of corrosion-resistant materials and special seals, designed to operate in environments with high temperature range and presence of dust. With Hansa TMP solutions, cleaning robots for solar installations offer increased energy efficiency, reduced human intervention, and long operational life even under extreme conditions. Compact architectures and low-power circuits make these applications perfect for onshore and offshore installations, contributing to sustainable and automated solar energy management.
